Las Vegas Valley Book Festival Tours
Atomic Age Alliance was pleased to participate in this years Las Vegas Valley Book Festival
with daytime tour from the Atomic Testing Museum and a Midnight Architectural Tour of Las Vegas
with authors Allen Hess, Chris Nichols, and Mary Margaret Stratton.
The Vegas Valley Book Festival is presented by Nevada Humanities and the Office of Cultural Affairs
of the City of Las Vegas.
A.I.A. Alan Hess Lecture at the Morelli House - Las Vegas Chapter
Atomic Age Alliance was proud to be one of the sponsors of this exciting lecture on April 9th 2007.
To kick off Architecture week in Las Vegas and to officially unveil the grand public opening
of the Morelli House in downtown Las Vegas, the Junior League and the local AIA and Atomic Age Alliance
presented a special lecture from Alan Hess. Alan Hess is the author of the pivotal books,
Googie: Fifties Coffee Shop Architecture and
Googie Redux: Ultramodern Roadside Architecture and
Viva Las Vegas: After-Hours Architecture along with numerous other books on Mid Century Modern architecture.

Mondo Lounge Atomic Frolic
This weekend-long celebration of all things Atomic and Lounge was attended by over 400 people! It was a hit! And Atomic Age Alliance was there.
the event truly embraced what the Atomic Age Alliance is all about.
In addition to benefitting AAA, we also raised funds and awareness for Classic Las Vegas
and The Burlesque Hall of Fame/Miss Exotic World.
